Yellow alter: covid-19 in New Delhi

84% of Reports of 30 and 31 December in New Delhi found to be covid-19 positive says the Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
Jain told “84% of the COVID-19-19 cases reported in Delhi in the past two days were of the Omicron variant. Delhi’s expected to report around 4,000 cases today with the positivity rate rising to 6.5 per cent,” Jain told reporters.
Delhi Disaster Management Authority order to close schools, colleges, cinemas and gyms immediately and also imposed various restrictions on shops and public transport.
Yellow alert was sounded under Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) and the restriction will be from 10 AM to 8 PM.
