Yamaha’s product line-up is changed on a regular basis in order to keep consumers interested, and in its most recent attempt, the Japanese business has introduced two new colour schemes for its naked quarter-litre bikes, the FZS-25 and the FZ-25. Two new colours have been added to the palette: matte copper and matte black.
The FZ-25 will come in Racing Blue and Metallic Black, while the FZS-25 will come in Matte Copper and Matte Black. Other than new colour options that improve the motorcycle’s athletic look, no alterations have been made to the bikes.
Aside from the overall appearance, both colour variants have copper-coloured alloy wheels. The regular model is offered in a MotoGP-inspired livery.
The bikes are powered by a 249cc air-cooled SOHC single-cylinder engine. It produces 20.5 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 20.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm when combined with a 5-speed transmission. Both ends have disc brakes (282mm at the front and 220mm at the back), which are assisted by dual-channel ABS. The motorbike is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends.
The FZS-25 has a price tag of Rs 1,43,300, while the FZ-25 has a price tag of Rs 1,38,800. (Both prices ex-showroom).
