US Vice-President Kamala Harris recently travelled to Europe, where she met with Poland’s President Andrzej Duda to address the Russian invasion situation. Ukraine was incorrectly identified as a member of the 39-nation North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in a tweet from her handle. “The United States stands solidly with the Ukrainian people and in support of the NATO alliance,” Harris stated in the now-deleted tweet. “When I was in Poland, I met with US and Polish service members, thanking them for standing with our NATO partners for freedom, peace, and security,” the second, virtually identical tweet read an hour later.
