Will TCS, Cognizant, Infosys continues work from home?

In the midst of the extraordinary COVID-19 increase, India Inc. is said to have opted to continue working remotely. Several firms, like the e-commerce platform Flipkart and Amazon, have requested their workers to resume working from home.
Previously, major IT businesses, including TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and others, allegedly urged their staff to return to their “deputed location” since they had planned to open offices for 50-70 percent of their workforce beginning in January 2022. However, due to the present scenario, the corporations have put their plans on hold, according to a CNN-News 18 report.
TCS stated in a formal communication to its staff last month that 90% of its colleagues work from home, and any plans to return to the office will be a ‘calibrated move’. Similarly, Cognizant stated that it will continue to allow workers to work from home while keeping their health and safety in mind.
Many organisations, according to industry watchers, are anticipated to pursue a Hybrid model in 2022, which is a blend of both Work from Home (WFH) and Work from Office (WFO). Employees may be required to work three days in the office and two days at home, and each firm may develop its own model depending on its working days and requirements.
