Union Budget 2022, Day 1: What to Expect?

On the first day, President Ram Nath Kovind will address both Houses—the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. PM Narendra Modi will address the media before the Presidential speech.
The Finance Ministry will release the Economic Survey 2021-22 later in the day. In the absence of the Chief Economic Adviser, the Economic Survey was written this year by the Principal Economic Advisor and other authorities for the uninitiated (CEA). The Central government chose economist V Anantha Nageswaran as the next CEA on Saturday.
To ensure that the Houses run well, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu will have separate talks with floor leaders of political parties.
