Ukraine’s funding has risen to about $14 billion as part of a $1.5 trillion government plan

AUS aid package for Ukraine and its Eastern European allies increased to approximately $14 billion on Tuesday, as legislators finished off a $1.5 trillion government-wide budget bill that leaders expect Congress would pass by the end of the week.

Democrats and Republicans joined up to support Ukraine help after Russia’s bombardment devastated portions of the nation and triggered Europe’s greatest refugee crisis since World War II. Negotiators said the package of military, humanitarian, and economic aid to the area had risen to over $14 billion, up from $12 billion on Monday and President Joe Biden’s $10 billion proposal last week.

“We’re going to stand with them in the face of tyranny, injustice, and brutal acts of subjugation”, Biden stated at the White House.
