Ukraine, the Russian offensive has slowed as residents flee bombed-out cities.

On Tuesday, Russia’s onslaught in Ukraine resumed, albeit at a much slower pace, and a second senior Russian officer was killed, according to Ukrainian military and intelligence sources, while terrified civilians evacuated bombed-out towns. Residents in the city of Irpin, on Kyiv’s outskirts, raced with their young children in strollers or carrying newborns in arms, while others carried pet carriers, plastic bags, and luggage.
