Several people have been accused of conspiring to leak information to the Russian government, including a US army major doctor and her wife, a civilian doctor. The alleged scheme by Jamie Lee Henry and Anna Gabrielian involved sharing patient information from a military hospital that was secret.

According to reports, the two claimed to be driven by Russian patriotism when speaking to a covert FBI agent. No comments on the situation have been made by the couple’s representatives thus far. Russian officials also haven’t offered any commentary.

Following their detention, an indictment was filed in a court in Baltimore, Maryland, and it was unsealed on Thursday. The two were charged with conspiracy and disclosing personally identifiable health information.
