Ukraine: Russian artillery fires on Kyiv structures

According to social media accounts, blasts were reported in the Ukrainian city of Kyiv earlier this morning.
According to the city’s emergency services, Russian shelling hit a 12-story residential building in the Shevchenko neighbourhood about 6 a.m. According to police, a nearby nine-story building was also damaged.
According to the report, two persons were hurt and 35 people were evacuated from the building.
Earlier on social media, videos showed enormous plumes of smoke billowing into the air from structures.
Despite a two-day curfew, residents around the city are still hunkered down in bunkers, underground shelters, and their houses.
Officials have cautioned that the capital is in a “difficult and hazardous” period.
