Ukraine opposes the neutrality paradigm of Austria and Sweden

          Ukraine rejected Russian plans to accept a neutral status equivalent to Austria or Sweden on Wednesday, saying peace negotiations with Moscow should focus on “security assurances”.

“Ukraine is currently engaged in a direct conflict with Russia. As a result, the model can only be ‘Ukrainian’ and based on legally verifiable security assurances”, In comments released by President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, its chief negotiator Mykhailo Podolyak remarked.
