Ukraine claims that over 15,000 Russian servicemen have been killed in the conflict

According to the latest information from Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, around 15,300 Russian servicemen have been killed since the start of the war.
The government also listed 509 tanks, 1,556 armoured combat vehicles, and 252 artillery systems as Russian military losses during the February 24 invasion of Ukraine.
Russia has only published a single statistic for soldier losses – 498 dead as of 2 March – but the US recently claimed that about 7,000 Russian servicemen had been killed in the battle.
The following are the remaining items on Ukraine’s defence ministry’s list:
- 80 missile launchers in total
- 45 units of air defence
- 99 aircrafts
- 123 Choppers
- 1,000 items of automobile equipment
- three units of ships/boats
- 70 fuel tanks
- unmanned aerial vehicle (drone): 35 fuel tanks
- 15 specialised equipment
