Ukraine aspires to establish humanitarian corridors

1 min read

According to Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, Iryna Vereshchuk, the country hopes to be able to evacuate inhabitants from several towns and cities encircled by combat today.

According to Reuters, this would entail attempting to build a private car path out of the ringed port city of Mariupol, where 160,000 people remain besieged.

Ukraine warned yesterday that some of the roads were dangerous due to anticipated Russian assault.
