The new browser plugin enables the users to save, send, and receive #cryptocurrency on all EVM chains as well as Solana. Self-custody Due to the failure of FTX and the broader bank run on cryptocurrency exchanges, Trust Wallet is growing. The company partnered up with Binance in just one week and debuted the much-anticipated browser add-on, enabling customers to send money right away to a Trust Wallet account.

On November 14, Trust Wallet released its browser plugin, which is now usable in Opera and Google Chrome. The plugin enables users to store, send, and receive cryptocurrency across all EVM chains and Solana. A network auto-detect feature allows users to use apps flawlessly without explicitly adding networks. The plugin also supports non-EVM blockchain connectors, hardware wallets, multiple wallets, NFT, and providers of fiat on-ramps.

The Trust Wallet has been integrated with Binance Pay, according to a November 16 announcement from Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. Binance customers won’t have to scan or enter a wallet address anymore as their Trust Wallet is one of the direct withdrawal options. It won’t cost more than the blockchain gas fees as well. Only the Android version of the Trust Wallet App had the feature at the time of publication, but Binance claimed an iOS version will be available “soon.”

Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, previously provided official sponsorship for Trust Wallet and stated that “self-custody is a fundamental human right.” The move should not be shocking given that Binance has owned the wallet service with American roots since 2018. Trust Wallet Token (TWT) outperformed the decrease in the cryptocurrency market on November 15 by increasing by over 150% in just six days, defying a drop in the market’s net valuation of nearly $100 billion during the same time period. The token’s trading volume surged over that time from 279 million TWT to 593.25 TWT, indicating the market’s belief in its rising path.
