Donald Trump and his children, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, have filed an appeal in their fight against the New York attorney general’s attempt to depose them as part of the Trump Organization’s civil probe. Their attorneys contended that a lower judge erred in refusing the Trumps’ request to have their subpoenas for testimony quashed.
Donald Trump and his children, Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, have filed an appeal in their fight against the New York attorney general’s attempt to depose them as part of the civil investigation into the Trump Organization. Their lawyers argued that a lower court erred in denying the Trumps’ request to have their summons for testimony dismissed.
His ecstatic Monday morning comes after a weekend appearance in Florida during which he appeared to guarantee a return to the White House.
Following his statements, Republican US Representative Liz Cheney warned that Mr Trump might face criminal charges in connection with the assaults on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
