Three police officer killed in Patna

Three police officers were killed and two others were injured after an over speeding truck lost control and collided with police patrolling vehicle at the Beur More in Patna early this morning.
The tragedy happened about 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday when a dumper collided with the car, they were travelling in the Beur Jail area. The injured officers were sent to PMCH Hospital.
The collision is thought to have occurred as a result of fog. Meanwhile, the police are looking at the CCTV video. Information is also gathered from others in the vicinity. In this case, further action is being taken.
The blast was so powerful that its reverberation could be heard for 500 metres. The explosion appears to have been caused by a fire in the police vehicle’s fuel tank. The police gypsy is entirely destroyed. Following the incident, officers from Gardanibagh and Beur police stations arrived on the scene. The fire department also arrived and extinguished the flames. Following this, the police transported the three bodies for post-mortem examination.
