The Mumbai Police Department has expelled two ‘drug queens’ from the city for a year.

The Mumbai Police have detain two women from the city police for allegedly running a drug network. Their spouses are presently imprisoned under the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act) and the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act).
Assistant Inspector Amol Kadam of the Trombay Police Station stated, “Their spouses are hardened criminals who are imprisoned on major charges under the MCOCA [Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act] and the NDPS [Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act]. In their absence, Tehseen and Firdous ran the local drug ring and distributed narcotics, particularly marijuana.”
