The Kia Carens will debut in India on February 15, 2022, after making its debut in late 2021. It is the fourth model in the domestic market for the South Korean automaker, following the Seltos SUV, Carnival MPV, and Sonet small SUV. The three-row variant has been available for bookings since January 14, with Kia India receiving 7,738 orders in the first 24 hours. The Kia Carens will be available in six- and seven-seat configurations, with the former including captain chairs for second-row passengers. The motorized fold-and-tumble function for the second-row seats, which allows for easier ingress/egress, will make life easier for third-row passengers.
