The Italian Prime Minister has slammed Russia’s “arrogance”

            More on what was stated in the Italian parliament in response to Ukrainian President Zelensky’s speech.

Following Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s address, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi described the country’s resistance to the Russian invasion as “heroic”.

“The Russian government’s hubris has clashed with the dignity of the Ukrainian people, who have managed to restrain Moscow’s expansionist goals and exact a massive cost on the invading troops”, he told parliament.

Zelensky is scheduled to talk at the French National Assembly on Wednesday, after previously speaking to the US Congress, the German Bundestag, the British, Canadian, and Israeli legislatures, as well as the European Parliament.
