Apple’s forthcoming smartphones, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, are rumoured to have a thicker overall design with a more visible camera hump.
According to MacRumors, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a width of 77.58 mm, which is somewhat less than the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s width of 78.1 mm. In terms of height, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be virtually equal to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, measuring 160.7 mm vs 160.8 mm. The iPhone 14 Pro Max will be 7.85 mm thick, which is somewhat thicker than the current high-end iPhone, which is 7.65 mm thick. The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are expected to include a larger hole-punch that will contain the Face ID features as well as a second hole for the selfie camera.
Apple will spread it to the whole iPhone 15 series in 2023, according to display analyst Ross Young, giving the new design to even the lower-cost iPhone 15 alternatives.
