Tamil Nadu student who had rejected by Indian army twice has joined Ukraine’s armed forces to combat the Russian invasion

            Sainikesh Ravichandran, a 21-year-old student from Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore district, has joined Ukraine’s paramilitary forces in order to fight Russia.

Officials came to his house and questioned his parents about it. They discovered he had applied to join the Indian Army but had been turned down.

Sainikesh moved to Ukraine in 2018 to study at the National Aerospace University in Kharkiv. He was supposed to finish the course by July 2022.

His family had lost contact with Sainikesh due to the continuing conflict in Ukraine. They were able to reach Sainikesh after obtaining assistance from the embassy. He informed his family that he had joined Ukrainian paramilitary groups in order to combat Russia.
