On the occasion of Stephen Hawking’s 80th birthday, Google paid homage to the theoretical physicist with a unique doodle on Saturday (January 8, 2022).”Today’s video Doodle honours English cosmologist, novelist, and theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, one of history’s most significant scientific minds,” Google added.
“From merging black holes to the Big Bang, his theories on the origins and dynamics of the universe transformed contemporary physics, while his best-selling books made the discipline widely accessible to millions of readers across the world,” the tech titan continued.
The voice of Stephen Hawking was also synthesised and utilised in the Doodle.
Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google and Alphabet, also tweeted the 2:31-minute video.
