Staffs from Saravana outlets in Chennai tested covid-19 positive

Thirty staff from the prominent retail chain Saravana outlets in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, tested positive for Covid-19. A total of 250 workers were examined, with 30 of them showing positive findings.
The business has now been closed as a result of city health officials’ orders. Every patient has been isolated. This comes only one day after over 149 Madras Institute of Technology students tested positive for Covid.
Several new Covid clusters have emerged in the state following a dramatic increase in illnesses on Thursday. A total of 4,862 new cases were reported, with just 38 having a history of both local and foreign travel.

Chennai is one among the most impacted areas, with over 2,400 cases reported in the previous 24 hours.
