Shaktimaan is back! Join Hands with Sony pictures

            Prepare to be transported back in time (nostalgic) as the famous program ‘Shaktimaan’ is poised to make its big screen debut. Sony Pictures India said on Thursday that it will support the cinematic adaptation of Mukesh Khanna’s TV serial ‘Shaktimaan’.

“After the phenomenal success of our numerous superhero films in India and around the world, it’s time for our desi Superhero”, said a tweet on Sony Pictures India’s official Twitter page.

The announcement was made through video, which teased Gangadhar’s distinctive spectacles, his camera, and, eventually, the big reveal: Shaktimaan’s outfit. According to the producers, the film will star “one of India’s celebrities.”
