Severe Cold Wave for Next three Days in Central and Northwest India with no change in Minimum Temperatures

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cold wave conditions will persist in most parts of central and northwest India for the next three days. As per the most recent Meteorological Department bulletin, there will be no significant change in minimum temperatures over northwest India until January 30.
However, the temperature will begin to fall by two to three degrees Celsius after that. Fresh snowfall is expected over Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, and the western Himalayan region between January 29 and February 4, according to the forecast.
IMD predicts cold wave conditions in isolated pockets in Chandigarh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Vidarbha in Maharashtra between January 28 and January 30. Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are very likely over Madhya Pradesh over the next 24 hours, and in isolated pockets for the next four days till February 1. Apart from the cold wave, the central state is expected to have cold day conditions over the next two days.
