The Indian embassy has safely evacuated hundreds of trapped Indian students from military conflict Ukraine, despite Russian invasion operations in the nation.
On Saturday morning, an Air India jet from Mumbai landed in Bucharest, Romania’s capital, to rescue Indians stuck in Ukraine. The pupils were evacuated on a bus with an Indian flag outside and a banner stating “Indian Students” in a high-security environment. They will return to India on an Air India flight. On Saturday, Air India will add extra flights to Bucharest and Budapest, Hungary’s capital. AI1943 took off from Mumbai airport at 3.40 a.m. (Indian Standard Time) and landed at Bucharest airport at 10.45 a.m. (Indian Standard Time).
