We now have new information about a Russian air attack that killed 22 people, including three children, in the Ukrainian city of Sumy.
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the regional governor of Sumy, claims Russia attacked a residential area in the city’s north-east overnight, calling the incident as “mass murder”.
“Three explosives in one evening… It was a horrific night”, according to BBC Ukrainian.
Nine persons were slain in a single residence. Six houses were entirely demolished, with another 20 partially ruined. As we previously reported, some 5,000 people have been evacuated from Sumy after Russia decided to halt its shelling of the city, enabling a humanitarian corridor to open.
