According to an ICRC spokesman, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer, is on his way to Moscow for talks on the Ukraine situation.
“He has talks scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday as part of the continuing discourse related to the crisis in Ukraine,” ICRC spokesman Jason Straziuso told Reuters in an email. This week, Maurer visited Kyiv in the hopes of improving humanitarian access and increasing civilian safety.
