According to Sputnik, which cited the Russian defence ministry, the Russian armed forces have destroyed 2,482 Ukrainian military sites since the start of their military campaign in the Ukraine. Russian aerospace forces, according to Russian reports, damaged 158 military structures in Ukraine during the last day and shot down two MiG-29 and one Su-27 jets in the air.
“During the operation, 2,482 military targets in Ukraine were struck, including 87 Ukrainian military command posts and communication centres, 124 S-300, Buk M-1, and Osa air defence missile systems, and 79 radar sites,” Russian defence ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov told the news agency.
