Moscow’s plan was dubbed a “immoral stunt” by Kyiv.

Russia had proclaimed a temporary truce in order to allow civilians to flee Ukraine through humanitarian corridors. The Russian invasion of the neighbouring country is now in its 12th day. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the decision was made in response to a request from French President Emmanuel Macron, who called Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday.
