Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Air Raid Warnings Issued in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy

In the midst of the ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine, air raid warnings were issued on Saturday morning in Kyiv, as well as other significant cities Chernihiv and Sumy, according to local media.
The city of Chernihiv received the first air attack warning.
“Chernihiv has received air attack warnings. Residents should seek refuge in the nearest shelter”, The Kyiv Independent sent a tweet.
Following that, an alert was issued for the capital city of Kyiv, followed by one for the whole Kyiv Oblast and the city of Zhytomyr, followed by one for the city of Sumy. Residents in all of these locations were asked to go to neighbouring shelters.
The mayor of Mariupol, Ukraine’s south-eastern city, Vadym Boychenko, announced today that the city has been blockaded by Russian soldiers. Ukraine intends to have a third round of negotiations with Russian authorities in order to try to reach an agreement to cease the conflict. On February 24, Russia began military actions in Ukraine.
