According to #Russian news outlets reporting the defence ministry, Russia has launched a #Soyuz rocket carrying a military satellite into orbit.
According to the ministry, the rocket, a medium-class Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle, was fired off from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome at 9:48 a.m. Moscow time (0648 GMT).
