Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, claims that his nation has suffered more than $500 billion (£383 billion) in damage since the invasion began, and he wants that Russia pays for Ukraine’s reconstruction after the conflict.
Shmyhal did not elaborate on how reparations could be recovered, even if Ukraine won the conflict, although he did consider taking Russian property overseas. He also stated that Ukraine will seek financial support from its allies.
The Prime Minister made the remarks during a meeting on Tuesday with the leaders of three neighbouring countries, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovenia, who had travelled to Kyiv in solidarity.
