Rajinikanth in Nelson Dilipkumar & Anirudh combo for his 169th

Sun Pictures announced the huge partnership between Rajinikanth, director Nelson, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander for Thalaivar 169 on Thursday. The news comes only days after rumours of Rajinikanth working with Beast filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar emerged.
The creators made the news with a video that featured Rajinikanth, Anirudh, and Nelson all dressed in black suits and flaunting their swag.
Nelson wrote, ‘Feeling excited to announce my next project with the iconic SUPERSTAR @rajinikanth sir, happy to be associated with @sunpictures and my dearest buddy @anirudhofficial one again!’
Rajinikanth’s forthcoming film will be his 169th. This is also the superstar’s second consecutive picture with Sun Pictures, after Annaatthe last year.
Meanwhile, Nelson Dilipkumar is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after filmmakers, thanks to the enormous success of his most recent film, Doctor, starring Siva Karthikeyan. He has also completed the filming of Beast, starring Thalapathy Vijay. Beast is scheduled to enter theatres in mid-April.
