Qatar and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will contribute up to $200 million to assist farmers in adapting to climate change. The new alliance aims to introduce climate-adaptive farming techniques and technologies to communities who rely on agriculture for food and revenue. The relationship will be funded 50-50 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a renowned charity that fights poverty and unfairness.
