Putin is labelled a war criminal by the US Senate

The United States Senate has overwhelmingly condemned Vladimir Putin as a war criminal.
The unusual cross-party vote requested that the International Criminal Court in The Hague investigate Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine.
In a speech ahead of the vote on Tuesday, Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer said Putin should be held accountable for “atrocities” in Ukraine.
“The next step for me is to work with our British partners and hopefully others to build an intel cell that will make available to the public Russian military units engaging in war crimes and start naming their leaders”, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a bill sponsor, said in a statement.
A naming and shaming campaign is in the works.
