President Ram Nath Kovind will bestow Padma Awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2022

            Today, President Ram Nath Kovind will bestow two Padma Vibhushan awards, eight Padma Bhushan awards, and 54 Padma Shri awards for the year 2022. Mr. Kovind will deliver the award during the Civil Investiture Ceremony-I, which will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Padma Vibhushan recipients Radhey Shyam and General Bipin Rawat will be among the notable awards at today’s Investiture ceremony (Posthumous). Padma Bhushan awards will be given to Ghulam Nabi Azad, Gurmeet Bawa (posthumous), N. Chandrasekharan, Devendra Jhajharia, Rashid Khan, Rajiv Mehrishi, Dr Cyrus Poonawalla, and Sachchidanand Swami. The Civil Investiture Ceremony -II is set for March 28th.

The award will be presented by President Ram Nath Kovind during the Civil Investiture Ceremony-I, which will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
