Earlier in the evening, Faf du Plessis hit 88 off 57 balls to help the Royal Challengers finish on 205/2 after being requested to bat first. The RCB captain had excellent assistance from Virat Kohli, with the pair adding 118 runs for the second wicket. Kohli returned with an undefeated 41 off 29 balls.
