Pakistan now has 269 new COVID-19 cases, with one fatality

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) in Pakistan reported 269 new COVID-19 instances in the last 24 hours.
With the additional infections, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Asian country has increased to 1,524,355, according to the NCOC, the department in charge of the government’s pandemic response, according to Xinhua.
Over the previous 24 hours, 47 persons were reported to have recovered from the pandemic, increasing the overall number of recoveries to 1,485,473, according to NCOC statistics.
According to the news agency, one additional fatality was reported in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 30,347.
