One of #Osama bin Laden’s sons said that his father forced him to shoot guns as a toddler in Afghanistan and used his dogs to test chemical weapons in an effort to prepare him to carry on his father’s legacy.

In an interview with the newspaper “The Sun” while in Qatar, Omar bin Laden, the fourth-eldest son of Osama bin Laden, claims that he was a “victim” and has made an effort to forget the “difficult times” with his father.

The 41-year-old, who is currently residing in Normandy, France, with his wife Zaina, recollects Osama bin Laden informing him that he was the son chosen to continue his father’s mission. However, he made the decision to depart Afghanistan in April 2001, just a few months before the New York terrorist attacks of September 11.

“They tried it on my dogs, and I was furious. I just try to forget the bad times as much as possible. It’s extremely difficult. You are constantly in pain,” he stated.

“They give me a safe feeling like I’m untouchable,” said Omar, who was born in March 1981 in Saudi Arabia to Bin Laden’s first wife Najwa.

After spending five years in Afghanistan, Omar, a painter now, views his work as therapy and has a particular fondness for mountains. According to rumors, his canvases can sell for up to GBP 8,500.

The reports state that on May 2, 2011, Omar was in Qatar when he learned that US Navy Seals had killed his father, who was hiding out in a safe house in Pakistan. Within 24 hours of being killed on the supercarrier USS Carl Vinson, Osama bin Laden’s body was reportedly buried at sea, according to the official US account.
