In Delhi’s Tigri, a 17-year-old was allegedly stabbed by a teenager. The accused allegedly struck the victim in retaliation for a previous incident.
The perpetrator and the victim were known to each other, according to the police. They used to go to the same school and live in the same neighbourhood in the city.
“On a trivial matter a few days ago, the victim assaulted the accused with a knife inside a café in Govindpuri”, the officer was reported as saying by Time of India.
The suspects reportedly desired retaliation for the café incident. On Monday, he confronted the victim, and the two got into a fight.
“The accused then drew a knife and stabbed the teenager”, the police officer continued.
Following the event, the police got a call from a hospital’s Police Control Room (PCR) reporting an injured youngster. When police arrived, they discovered that the youngster was being treated for stab wounds.
The child was stabbed on the back, according to the police.
The Delhi Police combed through CCTV video from the location where the event occurred. The accused was detained on Wednesday as a result of this.
