Novak Djokovic will be permitted to compete in the French Open despite the fact that he has not been immunised against Covid-19. Russian tennis players, including Daniil Medvedev, will be allowed to compete in the event as neutral athletes due to the conflict in neighbouring Ukraine. Djokovic has won the French Open twice and has a total of 20 major wins, one less than Rafael Nadal, who won the Australian Open this year. France dropped rules mandating the use of face masks in most situations this week, enabling those who haven’t been vaccinated to return to restaurants, sports arenas, and other locations.
