‘Not all Russians are like this’, says a television anti-war journalist

According to the BBC, the Russian state TV journalist who staged an anti-war demonstration during a live broadcast “could not remain on the side-lines”.
“I was determined to demonstrate to the western public that Russians are opposed to war. Not all Russians are like this, though”, According to Marina Ovsyannikova.
Ovsyannikova, who was fined 30,000 roubles (£213) for violating Russia’s protest rules, stated that she was aware she would be jailed.
