Kim Jong Un, the DPRK’s top leader, has stated that his country will launch many military reconnaissance satellites into orbit. During a recent inspection of the National Aerospace Development Administration, Kim made the statements (NADA). On February 27 and March 5, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NADA) performed two reconnaissance satellite development tests.
“The Party Central Committee fully supports the National Aerospace Development Administration’s decision to launch a large number of military reconnaissance satellites into sun-synchronous polar orbit in the five-year plan period (2021-2025) in order to have a strong capability for gathering intelligence by satellites,” he added.
