The government of Andhra Pradesh ordered a night curfew from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday to combat the spike of COVID-19 cases in the state.

The decision was made during a review meeting between Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and health department officials to discuss the COVID-19 scenario.

Theatres, multiplexes, and movie theatres will be open with 50% occupancy or various seating configurations.

The administration has also limited public gatherings to 200 persons outside and 100 inside the auditorium.
