A shocking 3.9 magnitude earthquake hits the East Khasi Hills region around 9.26 am today. As of now, there are no reports of any casualties.
National Center for seismology tweeted, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.9, Occurred on 16-02-2023, 09:26:29 IST, Lat: 25.30 & Long: 91.71, Depth: 46 Km, Location: East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, India.”
Recently, on February 13, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Assam, which was the epicenter in the Hojai district at a depth of 10 km.
