On Tuesday, New Zealand and Fiji signed a collaboration declaration. The pact calls for the two nations to collaborate more closely in areas like as security and economic resilience. Nanaia Mahuta, New Zealand’s Foreign Minister, said her country is dedicated to working with Fiji. The Solomon Islands administration indicated that it will “diversify” its security partnerships beyond those with Australia. According to a New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade statement, the partnership statement outlines a broad range of priorities such as pursuing greater understanding and coordination on foreign policy priorities; building economic resilience; and supporting capability to uphold sovereign authority.
