Google, a US-based technology behemoth, has begun to roll out a new privacy feature that will let users directly ask for the removal of Search results that contain their personal data.
With this new tool, all you have to do is click the three-dot overflow menu that shows in the top-right corner of each result whenever you discover your personal information, such as your home address, email address, phone number, or any other information, on Google Search.
“According to 9to5Google, Google’s Results about you feature, which was shown at its annual developer conference earlier this year, is currently rolling out to select users. An additional Remove result option appears at the bottom of your screen as the current About this Result’ box opens “cited in the IANS article.
