The 30-member coalition has so far declined to send soldiers to the ground, fearing that doing so would escalate the battle against nuclear power Russia, potentially igniting a third global war.
Russia has accused Ukraine of running chemical and biological weapons facilities with US support, an accusation that has been roundly refuted by Ukrainian and Western authorities.
Furthermore, the West suspects that the claims are the result of Moscow developing and constructing a false narrative and justification for using its own chemical weapons against Ukraine.
