Narendra Modi pays tribute to Lala Lajpat Rai on the occasion of his Birth Anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to ‘Punjab Kesari’ Lala Lajpat Rai on his birth anniversary on Friday. The Prime Minister tweeted that his courage, struggle, and dedication to the freedom movement will be remembered by all Indians.

Lala Lajpat Rai, who was born on January 28, 1865, was a pivotal figure in the Indian Independence movement. He was one of three members of the Lal Bal Pal trio, which included Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and Bipin Chandra Pal, who were the social reformers and freedom fighters assisted India in gaining independence from British rule.
