According to the Polish Border Guard service, almost 1.75 million individuals have left Ukraine to Poland since the war began.
Not all of those refugees are thought to be in Poland right now. According to Maciek Duszczyk, vice-rector for research at Warsaw University, around one million refugees remain in Poland, with the remainder having already fled to other countries.
According to the Border Guard agency, 82,100 migrants crossed the border on Sunday, up from 79,800 on Saturday.
By 06:00 GMT on Monday, 18,400 people had crossed the border.
